Lora Sherr, PT, DPT, OCS, Practice Owner
Lora grew up in Los Angeles and currently lives in the heart of Encino. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychobiology from UCLA and went on to get her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from USC. Her extensive orthopedic experience has enabled her to earn her the Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) title from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties.

Lora has worked in orthopedics and sports medicine for over since 2001.
She has extensive training in:

- Kinesio Taping
Lora has developed personalized programs ranging from rehabilitation of neuromusculoskeletal injuries and surgeries, general health and wellness, and sports specific performance enhancement for youth through geriatric populations, and novice to elite athletes.
Women’s Health & Breast Cancer Rehabilitation
Dr. Sherr also specializes in a Women’s Health program, which utilizes the benefits of physical therapy, modalities, patient education, and exercise to help restore healthy movement, function and comfort for a number of female diagnoses.
She has successfully treated prenatal/postpartum conditions, women post abdominal surgery, and breast cancer patients post mastectomy.
Experience
Before opening Meridian, Lora worked in an outpatient physical therapy private practice in Pacific Palisades, CA for several years. She has established herself as a highly recommended practitioner in her field. Working with top orthopedics, neurologists, rheumatologists and other specialty physicians throughout the valley and west side, she maintains the highest level of quality care in the treatment of her patients.
